About Me
I discovered the FI community in 2018. Like many of you, I headed down the FI rabbit hole...reading the books and listening to the podcasts.
In 2022 I attended my first in person event, a CampFI in Colorado Springs. I was hooked. I found my tribe. I have since attended several more Camp Fi's and EconoMe conferences, and I lead the Choose FI meetup group in St. Louis.
After 28 years as a broadcast meteorologist, I moved to part time work in March 2024. I did this for a myriad of reasons, but one of them was to travel more.
As someone who loves to travel, loves to plan travel, and loves spending time with the FI community, I thought why not combine those things?
I casually mentioned during introductions at CampFI
Midwest 2024 that I was interested in planning trips for the community to take together.
Numerous attendees told me they wanted to be notified about these trips...so FI Friends Travel was born!
